 Accreditation for residential programs

The Family First Preservation Services Act (FFPSA) will  mandate accreditation for residential treatment providers to become Qualified Residential Treatment Programs by October 1, 2019.

The following independent, not-for-profit accrediting organizations are recognized:

Or, "any other independent, not-for-profit accrediting organization approved by the Secretary."

Apart from the FFPSA mandate, many of our Together Georgia members with residential programs are already accredited to ensure quality standards and practice.  In addition, Together Georgia members who provide behavioral health services are accredited, as required by DBHDD.
