Webinar: Fostering Relationships Through Visitation
Creating stronger partnerships between birth parents and caregivers is a key strategy in supporting successful reunification for children and families involved in foster care.
Join us for "Fostering Relationships Through Visitation," a webinar from the Children’s Bureau, in partnership with the Child Welfare Capacity Building Collaborative on Thursday, June 21st. The webinar will highlight how communities are strengthening families by improving parenting skills and parent-caregiver partnerships to support better outcomes for families.
Presenters from SaintA’s, a private agency contracted with the Milwaukee Child Protective Services Agency, as well as presenters from the county child welfare agency in Sonoma County, CA, will share best-practice examples in visitation programming and discuss approaches that can improve visitation between children and parents.
