Interagency Directors Team

Dear Healthcare Provider,
Members of the Georgia Interagency Directors Team (IDT) are initiating a project to gather information that can help improve the care provided to young children who need services for developmental/behavioral concerns in Georgia. Understanding the nature of services currently being provided is critical to identifying potential service gaps and increasing the provision of effective services.
To learn more about any treatment gaps, we are surveying providers in Georgia who deliver services to children and will examine the types of and extent to which different therapies are used.  This information will prove useful in identifying providers both trained in specific evidence-based practices and/or otherwise delivering effective components of such programs, and informing future training needs and referral procedures to maximize provider capacity to meet the treatment needs of children in Georgia.

We are asking that you complete a brief online survey about the types of services that you provide directly to children and their families.   If you are part of a group practice or agency, we ask that each individual provider complete this survey about his or her caseload.  If you supervise others who directly provide services to children under your licensure or supervision, please share the survey link with them and ask them to respond for the families they see.  The survey should take 10-15 minutes. After completing the survey, you will be given access to a webinar about evidence-based behavioral health practices for working with young children with ADHD, with approved CEUs for the following disciplines:

  • Social Work (National Association of Social Workers, Georgia Chapter)
  • Psychology (Georgia Psychological Association)
  • Counselors (Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia)
  • Physicians (Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education)
  • Nurses and Advanced Practice Nurses (American Nurses Credentialing Center)
  • Educators and other professionals (International Association of Continuing Education and Training)

If you wish, we can also share a summary of the survey results with you.

We thank you for your time and effort in helping us identify opportunities for workforce development to deliver better services to children with ADHD.
