Hephzibah announces CEO retirement
Incredible Era of Leadership Comes to an End
Good Morning Facebook Friends! Would you please join us in honoring the outstanding service of our CEO, C.K. Chitty, who will retire, effective January 1st, 2018? CK has invested a quarter of a century in the mission and ministry of Hephzibah Children’s Home and will be greatly missed.
Rev. Chitty served for 15 years on our board of directors then graciously accepted the mantle of leadership almost 10 years ago when he became our CEO. CK’s efforts have been instrumental in guiding the ministry through some very challenging times and his eternal optimism through it all has been a remarkable testament to his unwavering faith in a God who loves and provides for children and families in crisis. A celebration in honor of CK & Grace is being planned and details will follow in a the near future.
The board of directors has appointed Rev. Peter Bagley, our current Executive Director, to fill the role of Interim CEO preserving continuity on our team. Over the next 6 months we will be renewing our commitment to the mission of bringing help, hope and healing to children and families in crisis; will engage new partners, fine tune our methods, invest in our people, and position the ministry for another 118 years of service. Your continued financial and prayer support will be critical to the success of this transition and we encourage gifts in honor of CK’s service.
