Hamilton appointed to Georgia’s Board of Human Services

Daily Tribune

Sworn in July 25, Lisa Hamilton was appointed by Gov. Brian Kemp to Georgia’s Board of Human Services.

“My friend, John Clayton, an attorney here in Cartersville, was instrumental in my appointment,” she said. “It was his certainty that I was the type of person the governor would want to work for our state, that pushed me to pursue this position.

“I was thrilled when it actually came to fruition. As I was just recently sworn in, I look forward to my orientation and first board meeting later this month.” Consisting of nine individuals, the Board of Human Service’s members each serve four-year terms.
