Goshen breaks ground on wellness center

WALESKA — The youth at Goshen Valley Boys Ranch will soon have an indoor facility to use for recreation and physical fitness, as well as counseling and other services.
Goshen Valley broke ground Saturday on the upcoming wellness center, which was paid for by corporate and community partners and various metro Atlanta foundations, with some money from a Cherokee County Community Block Grant. The estimated $1.5 million project consists of a 12,000 square feet building near the ranch’s barn, which will have a full-size gym that will be also be the home of events and training for staff and volunteers.
