Servant Leadership

Together Georgia members demonstrate the essence of servant leadership.  Below are a couple of examples in response to the wake of Hurricane Dorian.

To all my friends and folks wanting to help us with disaster relief, your opportunity is likely coming available. In the past years we have feed literally over 10,000 people in just three days, over 40,000 total over the years and cleared hundreds of homes from trees and debris, more than that we have shared the love of Christ and given hope in a time where people have lost everything. If you want to help give those things... well... your chance is coming up. We will have a feeding team and a clean up team moving where ever GEMA and Ga VOAD sends us towards. If you are interested in working way to hard, getting way too little sleep and sweating way too much for absolutely zero $$$ then let me know! I can give you 100% guarantee that you will be rewarded and that you will leave this service to others with the absolute satisfaction of helping others in a way that you have not had before if this is your first time serving.

Please sign up and be apart of it all.

Go and Like our Hot meals and Warm Hugs page on Facebook for information and also please message me. We have no idea at the moment what the plan is except that we will serve our community first and work our way towards where we are needed most.

INSPIRITUS

Inspiritus is excited to share that we are deploying to North Carolina to support our partners at Lutheran Services Carolinas with Hurricane Dorian disaster response. Along the North Carolina coast, powerful storm surges and tornadoes have damaged many homes, and many lives have been disrupted as a result of this powerful hurricane.

Our disaster response team is traveling today to prepare a 24-bed volunteer center in Morehead City, NC. Over the next few days, we'll be setting up our base and assessing local needs. If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out our form here and we will get back to you shortly.

We are so excited to invite you to join with us as we extend this support to our brothers and sisters in need in the Carolinas. Inspiritus will stay and assist with initial clean-up, muck-and-gut operations, and volunteer coordination services just as long as our support is needed.

This work is made possible by the generous support of Lutheran Disaster Response, Lowe's, Home Depot, as well as free commercial air flights courtesy of Airlink.

At this time, we anticipate an additional $10,000 is needed to provide help on the ground. Please donate today using the button below and share this email with others who may be interested in helping out with our response. We have a flier available here if you would like to print it out and share it with friends and family at your church services this Sunday.

From all of us here at Inspiritus, thank you for your help.
