Mental Health Ethics and the Provision of Telemental Services: A Detailed Overview for Mental Health Clinicians

Together Georgia Provider Alliance in collaboration with The University of Georgia J. W. Fanning Institute for Leadership Development offers the following training.  

Tuesday, August 13, 2019, 9:00am - 4:30pm  

Program Description:This six-hour program on the ethics of providing telemental health services will provide the mental health clinician will a detailed overview of the challenges of providing distance services, including the key legal, ethical and clinical knowledge base and skill sets for protecting client privacy and confidentiality under state and Federal laws and statutes, including HIPAA, the Hi-Tech Act and the Final Omnibus Rule of March 2013. This program will fulfill the requirements for 6 hours of training in Telemental Health under GA Composite Board Rule 135-11-.01.
