Chapin Hall Report
In 2016, the Division of Family and Children Services engaged the University of Chicago, Chapin Hall to conduct a review of the state’s placement operations system — recruitment, preparation, and retention of caregivers (foster/adoptive/relative/group home), placement matching and placement stability. Today at the DFCS/Provider Association leadership meeting, DFCS announced release of the completed report. Linked for your review is a copy of the report.

Our Executive Retreat is designed to create a positive atmosphere in which thought leaders engage in meaningful and productive dialogue with our members to improve collaboration and practices for those whom we serve. Family Preservation Services Act implementation discussion will be front and center at this year's event. Program Description: Often times, we may be tempted to overlook the leadership opportunities that exist for 'front line' staff. However, front line staff can make or break the effectiveness, evaluation and overall health of an organization. Designed for front line staff as participants, this session will focus on developing a leadership identity and examine how to lead from the front.
