Foster caregiver weekend retreat (Project F.R.E.E. year 2 planning)
[Target audience: foster parent couples statewide who are caring for a child from DFCS Region V]
Project F.R.E.E.’s first Foster Parent Elevate Weekend Retreat, held in August 2016, was a huge success! As we begin planning for the next retreat, we need your help!
We are trying to determine the preferences of potential participants regarding the retreat agenda. Our August participants shared that they would like additional time to process information with their partner and to network with other foster parents. As such, we are considering extending the length of the retreat and would like your input.
Please participate in the Weekend Retreat Agenda Poll by October 30 and let us know which of options would work best for your family. This survey should only take one (1) minute to complete.
Please note that the weekend retreat will be held at Lake Lanier Legacy Lodge in Buford, GA. Hotel accommodations will be provided for both options on Friday and Saturday nights. Child care will also be provided if needed, but is limited as we strongly encourage couples to take this wonderful opportunity to focus on their relationship.
