Embark UGA Admissions Recruitment Event - October 7
From J.W. Fanning Institute for Leadership Development, University of Georgia
We are excited to announce a first of its kind event here at UGA. On October 7, the UGA Admissions office will host a "First Look" event geared specifically for youth who have experienced foster care and/or homelessness and up to three guests per student. This program is designed for students who are in 10th or 11th grade this year and who may be competitive in the admissions process for UGA. Students will hear from a variety of UGA representatives including faculty, staff and students. One of the primary goals is to highlight the broad array of resources available at UGA to meet the needs of these students. All of the information that you need is found in the registration link. Please see the attached flyer for additional information.
Please circulate widely with your contacts and young people who may want to take advantage of this opportunity. The link to register is here: http://t.uga.edu/2BP
If you have any questions about registration or logistics for the event, please contact UGA admissions directly - there is a contact box inside the registration form once you open the link. If you have any questions about other topics, please contact us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are very excited about this event and look forward to lots of participants!
